Hi I would be great fun if you could translate "love yourself" from English to Romania please

The translation of "love yourself" from English to Romanian is:

"Iubeşte-te pe tine însuţi"

iubeste-te

Hello, I have a girlfriend that lives in Bucuresti and this is the only site that I have found where everything written actually makes sense to her...she says Google translate is basically useless. You should publish some kind of language course...I would take it in a minute. Thank you for everything and Noapte Buna...

I'm very happy that you like our website.
I'm planning to add quite a few cute romantic nicknames to call your Romanian girlfriend.

I wish you all the best in your relationship.

For the language course, actually we have already started some language classes that can be found here

Hi. Would be very grateful if you could provide the English translation for the above song 'te iubesc' by Mike diamond. Many thanks

Hi,
I have met a Romanian woman here in my country Belgium through dating site. I am astonished how much love she has, upright, sincere and simple.... We have met now about 2 months ago. I am eager to learn Romanian language... don't know exactly where to start, but I try... I never met someone like her with sincere intentions... Yes, my previous wife was Polish... she threw me on the street so.... I hope to get all changes to build a wonderful future with this Romanian woman... I am 54 yrs....
Here is translation of the text... I think it is reasonable well translated...
Hope you enjoy it...
Te iubesc cum nu vezi nici in filme I love you as you don't see in movies
Te iubesc mai mult decat se scrie I love you then they write
Te iubesc mai mult decat se spune I love you more then they say
Te iubesc cand soarele apune I love you when the sun goes down
Mai mult decat orice pe lume more than anything in the world
Cum nu te-a iubit nimeni As no one loved you
Te iubesc cand soarele rasare I love you when the sun rises
Te iubesc cu dor si nerabdare I love you with longing and impatience
Te iubesc mai mult decat se poate I love you more than can be
Te iubesc chiar si atunci cand ma doare I love You even when it hurts
...mai mult decat orice pe lume ...more than anything in the world
Cum nu te-a iubit nimeni As no one loved you
Te iubesc si nu ma pot abtine I love You and I can not help it
Te iubesc tot ci am iti apartine I love You everything I have is yours
Te iubesc mai mult decat pe mine I love You more than myself
Te iubesc esti singura din lume I love You, You're the only one in the world
...mai mult decat orice pe lume ...more than anything in the world
cum nu te-a iubit nimeni As no one loved you
Te iubesc si-ti dau tot ci-am in mine I love You and give you all but I have in me
Te iubesc la rau nu doar la bine I love you not only for better or worse
Te iubesc pentru eternitate for eternity
Te iubesc sufletul meu pereche my soulmate
...mai mult orice pe lume more than anything in the world
cum nu te-a iubut nimeni As no one loved you

Thank you Hugo,

You are right, many Romanian women are sincere and they tend to show the real full unconditional love. It's a bit difficult to explain it. It's difficult to generalize so I'm happy that you have found your soulmate.

By the way, since you mentioned that you are living in Belgium, I assume you have noticed that our site is translated in both French and Dutch, and especially this page of the Love phrases has it's counterpart in both French and Dutch.

I did the translation with joy... meeting with a romanian woman is a complete new experience for me.... especially after I had decided not to get back in a new relation after my Polish wife had thrown me on the street in june 2015, leaving me completely with nothing left... But surprisingly, my new girlfriend, which is originally from Husi, did not have so much interest in what I have (or not), but more in who I am and how I treat and respect her with love... and that is what I have been missing all the time in my life... to have someone who I can love unconditionally without being afraid of getting abused, be cheated...
I have to say (and still is for me a strange subject to get used to), that my gf says all the time that what she wants is what she needs... and I trust her...even I don't understand myself in doing this...it is like my intuition that says to do so....
Only her "openmindedness" is still a uncomfortable subject for me to get used to... but our love increases quite strong.... and now she starts to see (we met in november 2015) that I have sincere intentions with her... and hopefully we shall in time move to Romania to live... I hope to see here on the site indeed more nice songs or appropriate texts... Thank U!!

Hi Kimi

It took me some time to finally translate the song which can be found here:
http://forum.learnro.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16&p=918#p918

But since Hugo was so kind to translate it, we'll also have it on this page, many thanks Hugo.
Now there are two translations, but better two than none :)

BRAVO! MORE! I love this site. I agree with Jeff Clark above. My fiancée was born and raised in Bucharest and not one of the phases has been wrong. There was one she was impressed with that I got correct.
I also agree with the Admin, Romanian women are sincere and show full unconditional love. I'd love to see more phases or quotes or expressions.

Thank you very much Ed.It makes me happy to hear that this online Romanian lesson was helpful to you.

I'm trying as much as possible to progress on the many fronts this website has to offer (other thematic lessons, pronunciation, grammar) and I'll do my best to extend this lesson. I already have a few ideas such as: romantic affectionate nicknames in Romanian, or to extend the list of compliments, or an article about a relationship with a Romanian, translate more love songs from Romanian to English. I just need the time to do it...

Look forward to any updates. I sent my fiancee the link for the Te Iubesc video, she never heard of it, but loved it!

I was able to learn some phrases to say to my future Romanian husband that let him know just how seriously I LOVE him, I will be returning to this site to learn more Romanian sayings to be able to communicate without it having to be in English!!

well i to have met an amazing lady we have fun she is teaching me Romanian and i can say i am loving it as much as i love her but from time to time she tells me i need to learn English
That for me is funny i am English it does not matter where we come from its what is in our hearts so this will help me a lot thank you
live love and peace to all

Hi, I've loved using this site.
I'm dating a Romanian man and would like to tell him in his language
'I am falling in love with you'.
I'd be so grateful if someone can help please.
Thank you
Faye

Hi Fay,
We are very happy for you
The translation is: "Mă îndrăgostesc de tine". Unfortunately we do not have the pronunciation of this exact phrase. In the above lessons though all the prerequisites are there: the first part "îndrăgost-" is available and then the last one ("-esc") is also available.

I hope this helps.
All the best in your relationship

It would be great if you would translate "I should have told you that I love you" into Romanian please :)

Hi D,
The Romanian translation is:
"Ar fi trebuit să-ți spun că te iubesc"

In the above lesson you have the (audio) pronunciation of "să-ți" and "te iubesc".
If you know a bit the international phonetic alphabet (IPA) here is the phonetic transcription of "Ar fi trebuit să-ți spun că te iubesc":
/ar fi tre.bu.it sət͡sʲ spun kə te ju'besk/.
If you do not know IPA just say it from your heart and it will be as good or even better than a native speaker.

All the best

Could you translate "I kiss your hand" into Romanian please? :)
I'm madly in love with a Romanian girl, maybe sometime I get a chance, I hope so :)

The Romanian translation is: "Îți sărut mâna", the phonetic translation is /ɨt͡sʲ sə'rut mɨ.na/
Just as a side note "sărut mâna" in Romanian is associated with old people, it is the polite form of greeting a much older person than you. It's true that it's quite old fashion.

I'm just trying to help with providing more context.

If you need more translations let me know

What are some pet names -of affection ?

Do they use babe - baby - luv... Etc

Hi Sabie,
If you could bare with me for 1-2 days, I'll add several love romantic names. I've already started working on it.

All the best

Hi,
I;ve just created the Romanian love names lesson at:
http://www.learnro.com/romanian-romantic-names

I still need to add a few more love names. Will do it asap.

Enjoy it!

The Romanian lesson on love pet names is now ready, I've managed to finalize it yesterday. You just need to navigate to the next lesson in this course or just click on this link.

Could you translate "You are the angel of Romania" into Romanian please? :)

"Tu ești îngerul României"

To learn how to pronounce it you can check out our lesson on the Romanian verb "to be" at:
http://www.learnro.com/be-have-conjugated-romanian

as well as the lesson that I'm working on right now (Romanian romantic pet names) where I'll add the Romanian pronunciation of little angel: "îngeraș" ", you might have to be a bit patient though until I finalize it.

The "little angel", "îngeraș" is now available in the next online course at:
http://www.learnro.com/romanian-romantic-names

I will love you forever

Hi Charlett,
It's a very good remark, I will add it for our next round of recordings to be eventually added in the body of the above lesson.

The most usual translation is: "Te voi iubi mereu" which literally means " I will love you frequently / all the time".
A bit stronger and maybe this is what you are looking for is "Te voi iubi întotdeauna" which means "I will always / forever love you"

Ar fi minunat daca ati traduce sit-ul si in rusa.

We do not have as a short term plan to translate the site in Russian, however if you have particular questions, you can write them directly in Russian, and you will get the answer in Russian. One day we will translate the whole site in Russian as well, but I'm afraid it will take some time. Our Russian translation services are direct and do not use automatic tools. In theory we could translate this site in for more languages than the currently supported ones, and that includes Russian. We are not there yet though.

Cum spuneam mai sus in engleză, nu intentionam in viitorul apropiat sa traducem tot site-ul in rusă dar dacă aveți întrebări specifice puteți să le postați pe orice pagina, de exemplu pe pagina aceasta direct in limba rusă si veți primi un răspuns in limba rusă (nu folosim motoare de traducere automate).

Мы не планирем перевод сайта на русский язык в краткострочной перспективе. Если у вас есть конкретные вопросы, вы можете написать их непосредственно на русском языке, и вы получите ответ на русском языке. В будущем мы переведем весь сайт на русский язык, а но это займет некоторое время. Наш перевод на русский язык будет прямым, мы не планируем использовать автоматические инструменты перевода.

I want to thank you for your article that helped me to get back with my Romanian partner.

Would anyone be able to help and translate the following to English please

Inger frumos si cald ce mi te'ai aratat in cale, ramai la fel de frumos si de curat. Aripile tale sa ma apere de rau si eu in dar sa'ti dau inima si sufletul meu

Many thanks

Very beautiful phrase.
Here is the adapted translation:

"Beautiful and warm angel that appeared on my way, remain as beautiful and clean. Your wings (should) protect me from the evil and I (should) give you my heart and my soul as a gift."

If you need a more literal word-for-word translation just let me know.

Hi

There is a Romanian girl that I like and I was planning on sending her a valentines card next year. I happened to find your site when looking for a few phrases to include.
She speaks perfect English so sending her a card in English is no problem. But then it thought it might be nice if i mix English and a few of your phrases, or just translate the entire card into Romanian so the card is special for her.

She has no idea that I like her so either way it's going to be anonymous. What do you think is best. Mix English and Romania or all Romanian? Would you be willing to translate? I am happy to pay.

I'm very happy to hear that you found a Romanian girl that you like.

I think that it would be good to send her a message in Romanian, to show that you care, and that you are willing to make an effort and speak her language. Usually people appreciate it.

I can translate it for you.
If it's not too personal, if you do not include her name, you can post your message in English here, as you posted the previous one, and I'll translate it.
If you prefer to keep it private, just write me a message by using the contact form

All our services are for free, so there is no need to pay. We may not deliver the translation within an hour, it might takes us 2-3 days to translate. If you need it very fast, let me know and I'll certainly try to help.

All the best

Hi I have been emailing a Romanian man I met when I was on holidays, could you please translate this for me. Da iubita si eu te doresc viata mea

Happy New Year Sue

The translation is:
Yes my love I want you as well in my life.

I have met the most amazing Romanian woman. I would be so happy and grateful if you can very quickly please translate this small message for me into Romanian Do you believe in destiny? You are so special to me. I have searched for you my whole life. I have crossed oceans of time for you. I am enchanted by your mind, your body, your spirit.

Here it is the translation of your above English text into Romanian:
"Crezi în destin? Ești deosebită. Te-am căutat toată viața mea. Am trecut oceane de timp pentru tine.
Sunt fermecat de corpul tău, de firea ta și de sufletul tău"

The above is a translation but at the same time it's an adaptation, because the exact translation would sound a bit unnatural in Romanian. The adaptation is quite little, it preserves well the spirit of your message.

I hope it helps.
All the best

Hello,

Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this website. I am currently writing a poem for a special someone for her birthday and was hoping you could help. I want to include some little bits of roman in it. How would you translate this lines?

Lay dreaming of tales untold
Uncover mysteries from your wings
Union of the air and sea

Is "La mulți ani, petala mea" translating to 'Happy birthday my petal"?

Thanks again!
-S

Hi,

I'm happy to help you in your efforts to impress your Romanian sweetheart.

I would use an adaptation of your translation:
"Visând la povești nespuse
Descoperă misterele din aripile tale
Armonie a aerului si marii"

Here is the word by word translation, just so that you see the difference:
"Stai visând la povești nespuse
Descoperă misterele din aripile tale
Unind aerul și marea"

For the last part of your question, your assumption is correct, "La mulți ani, petala mea" is translated as 'Happy birthday my petal"

All the best and if you need more help just let me know

Hello,

I just meet this Romanian girl, and I really like her. As Valentine's day is coming, I just thought it would be nice to ask her, personally, in Romanian. I already searched in Google Translate, and apparently to ask someone out for Valentine's is "ai fi Valentine meu?". I just wanted to confirm this and also to know if there's a better way.

Thanks a lot!

AP

Hi,In English it's "Would you be my Valentine" which is translated in Romanian (to be addressed to a girl as it is your case): "Vrei să fii Valentina mea?"All the best and I hope that your girl will say yes, if you need more Romanian translations just let me know.

Hi,

I followed my Romanian partner to Romania, and now I find it difficult to get a job. I live in Bucharest.
I love my partner, but I do not know if I can resist without a job. I assume that I'm not the only expat living in Bucharest searching for a job, so if somebody else has some tips I'd be happy to hear them.

Thank you

Hi Jason,

I'm happy to hear that you found your loved one. I think it is important to find a job, especially if you are the active type. It will increase your self-esteem and improve your relationship (unless you will start working day and night). Or at least this is my opinion.
There are several ways of finding a job in Romania, and to be honest I thought about writing an article on the subject but did not know how many people would be interested in that. Now that there is at least one (yourself), I'll gather my ideas and start writing one. If you could bare with me for a few days, one week, I should be able to come up with something that could help you.

Happy to help!

Hi,

It took me some time, but I managed to write this article. It is the result of a lot of research and information:
How to find a job in Romania

Happy to help

Hello, I was wondering how would you write a Romanian accent. I have a character whose first language is Romanian and I am having a hard time trying to show that the said character would say things. Also, how would you say 'my soul' I didn't find it in the pet names. Plus, I am so grateful for finding this as I am hoping that it will help my writing A LOT.

Thank you very much!

Hi Carol,

I do not know whether you are searching for a practical way or more an academic way of expressing the accent in Romanian.
The easiest way is to bold the stressed vowel, as it is done on this page:in Pot (means Can [I]) the stressed vowel is "o" this is way the "o" is bolded.

There is another way, the old way that I used to write on this website: á, é,í, ú... but this is not so intuitive.
I assume you're not interested in the intonation. If so, or if I did not fully get your question just let me know.

For the translation of "my soul" in Romanian it's: "sufletul meu". You'll find it in this lesson (with its pronunciation) in the sentence "Tu ești sufletul meu pereche" (You are my soul mate)

If you'd like to improve your writing, I can find a solution as long as your texts can be published on a page on this website, I'll be happy to correct them and explain what was wrong.
Just let me know if it's ok with you.

Happy to help

We have a 17 year old female exchange student living with us from Moldova and her native language is Romanian. She will be headed home in May and we would like to make a going away gift for her and we want it to say "We love you!" and "We will miss you!" in Romania. I know that there is a difference between feminine and masculine statements as well as formal and informal and I want to make sure that we get this correct. When she came we made a sign for her and we made a few minor error that we laugh at with her now, but I would like this to be perfect. Any help would be great!

Hi
It's very nice of you to think of something special for your guest.

"We love you" in Romanian is "Te iubim"
"We will miss you!" in Romanian is: "O să ne fie dor de tine"

Happy to help

Hi everyone, having trouble translating finer points this poem. Post original picture + my typed out version.

te port în suflet
ca pe un vas de preț
ca pe-o comoara-nchisa ci pecfti
te port în trup îm sănii albi si grei
un cantec cechi, ci crao som rasarit
si port la gat nepretuit sorage
stransoarea cald-a bratului tau drag
te port in mine tainic, ca pe-un vis
in cer inalt de noapte te-am inchis
te port lumina rumena de zori
cum poarte florile micasma lor
te port pe buze ca pe un fagur plin
o poama aurita de smochin
te port in brate horote subtiri
manunchi legat cu criya fir cu fir
cum poarta floarea rodul de cais
adanc te in trepil mei si-n vis

Wooww!!! This is a great Romanian love poem.
I must confess that I like it.

I'll start the translation, it seems to be quite a challenge, but I'll make it.

Happy to help

You're a scholar and a saint, put a big smile on me. You helped me write one before (fallingforaromaniangirl & la multi ani petala mea). She's now replied and google+me is not doing it justice.

Hi, I'm pleased to hear that I could help in the past, and I'll continue to help in the future.
I'm also happy to hear that this lesson and hopefully the other Romanian lessons on this website are actually being used and useful to the persons that need it.

Here is the translation. I have added the original text as well, as in your transcriptions there are a few typos

Romanian love poem: Te port in mine

Te port în suflet, ca pe un vas de pret,
Ca pe-o comoara-nchisa cu peceti,
Te port în trup, în sânii albi si grei,
Cum poarta rodia samânta ei.
Te port în minte, ca pe-un imn sfintit,
Un cântec vechi, cu crai din Rasarit.
Si port la gât, nepretuit sirag,
Strânsoarea cald-a bratului tau drag.
Te port în mine tainic, ca pe-un vis,
In cer înalt de noapte te-am închis.
Te port, lumina rumena de zori,
Cum poarta florile mireasma lor.
Te port pe buze, ca pe un fagur plin.
O poama aurita de smochin,
Te port în brate, horbote subtiri,
Manunchi legat cu grija , fir cu fir.
Cum poarta floarea rodul de cais.
Adânc te port în trupul meu si-n vis.

English Translation

I carry you in my soul
As a precious vase
As a sealed treasure
I carry you in my body in the [my] white and heavy breasts
As the pomegranate carries its seeds
I carry you in my mind as a holly anthem,
An old song with sunrise kings.
And I carry around my neck a priceless necklace,
The embrace of your warm arm.
I carry you in me mysteriously as a dream,
In the high night sky I locked you.
I carry you, the rubicund light of dawn
As the flowers wear their fragrance.
I carry you on my lips as a full honey comb,
A golden fig fruit.
I carry you in my arms thin lace,
A handful tied carefully piece by piece.
As the flower carries the apricot fruit,
I carry you deep in my body and dream.

Happy to help and I hope it will go well with your loved one.

i am so look forward to being able to tell her I understand, thank you a lot

I dated a Romanian man almost 2 years. He was from originally from Timosara, and moved to the U.S. He too, was the most sincere, kind, loving man. Made me feel like a princess. Unfortunately, we had to part, go our separate ways due to our careers. He will always have a special place in my heart & soul.

Dear Melanie,
I'm happy to hear that you had a pleasant time with a Romanian. Some of those wonderful moments (happy memories) will stay with us forever.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and emotions with us!

“If it be I grow frail and weak,
And pain should be my only relief,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this last battle can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand,
Don't let your grief then stay your hand,
For this day more than all the rest,
Your love and friendship stand the test.
We've had so many happy years,
What is to come will hold no fears,
You'll not want me to suffer .. so,
When the time comes , please let me go,
I know in time you too will see,
It is a kindness you do to me,
Please smile for me one last time,
Please hold me and let me cry,
I will treasure that one last hug,
You are my sunshine, you are my love,
But when the time comes,
Please do what needs to be done,
I won't be strong enough
Don't ask me to do it for us.
Do not grieve that it should be you
Who has to decide this thing to do
We have been so close, we two, these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears
You may no longer see me
but I will always be there
I will be the flowers in the garden,
I will be the wind beneath your hair,
I will be the sun on ripened grain,
I will be the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I will be the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I will be the soft stars that shine at night
So do not miss me and weep,
I may not be there; but I never did leave.

Sorry.. Translate into romanian and preserve the poetry, i will be eternally grateful

Dear Samer,

Here is my translation (adapted as you wanted a more poetical Romanian translation)
A moving poem!

Happy to help!

If it be I grow frail and weak,
Dacă o fi să ajung șubred și slăbit,

And pain should be my only relief,
Și durerea să-mi fie singurul adăpost,

Then you must do what must be done,
Atunci să faci ce trebuie făcut,

For this last battle can't be won.
Căci astă ultimă luptă-i în zadar
You will be sad, I understand,
Vei fi trist[ă], înțeleg

Don't let your grief then stay your hand,
Nu-ți lăsa jalea să te împiedice,

For this day more than all the rest,
Pentru că în ziua asta mai presus de toate,

Your love and friendship stand the test.
Dragostea si prietenia ta vor rezista

We've had so many happy years,
Am avut atâția ani fericiți

What is to come will hold no fears,
De ce-o să vină, nu te teme

You'll not want me to suffer .. so,
N-o să vrei să sufăr, așa că,

When the time comes, please let me go,
Când o să vină vremea, te rog lasă-mă să mă duc,

I know in time you too will see,
Știu că, cu timpul vei vedea și tu,

It is a kindness you do to me,
Că bunătate îmi arăți

Please smile for me one last time,
Te rog zâmbește-mi o ultimă oară

Please hold me and let me cry,
Te rog ia mă-n brațe și lasă-mă să plâng

I will treasure that one last hug,
Am să păstrez ca pe o comoară, acea ultimă îmbrățișare

You are my sunshine, you are my love,
Tu ești raza mea de soare, tu ești dragostea mea,

But when the time comes,
Dar când o să vină vremea,

Please do what needs to be done,
Te rog fă ce-i de făcut

I won't be strong enough
Nu o să mai fiu puternic,

Don't ask me to do it for us.
Nu-mi zice să o fac pentru noi.

Do not grieve that it should be you
Nu te mâhni că tu trebuie

Who has to decide this thing to do
Să fie cea/cel ce hotărăște s-o faci

We have been so close, we two, these years,
Am fost atât de aproapiați, noi doi, toți anii ăștia

Don't let your heart hold any tears
Nu-ți lăsa inima să plângă

You may no longer see me
Poate că nu o să mă mai vezi

but I will always be there
dar voi fi întotdeauna acolo,

I will be the flowers in the garden,
Voi fi florile din grădină,

I will be the wind beneath your hair,
Voi fi vântul din părul tău,

I will be the sun on ripened grain,
Voi fi soarele pe grânele coapte,

I will be the gentle autumn rain.
Voi fi ploaia gingasă de toamnă.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
Când te vei trezi în tihna dimineții

I will be the swift uplifting rush
Eu voi zburătăci iute spre-nălțimi

Of quiet birds in circled flight.
Cum zboară păsările tăcute-n cerc.

I will be the soft stars that shine at night
Voi fi stelele catifelate ce lucesc noaptea

So do not miss me and weep,
Asa că să nu-ți fie dor de mine și să nu plângi

I may not be there; but I never did leave.
Poate că nu voi mai fi acolo, dar n-am plecat niciodată.

Gosh you are amazing! Thank you, thank you thank you!!!

That you for such a great website!

Would you be kind enough to translate the following for me?

“You have no idea how special it was talking to you that night, I wish we could have talked all night.

That you for such a great website!

Would you be kind enough to translate the following for me?

“You have no idea how special it was talking to you that night, I wish we could have talked all night.

I don’t know if you remember but I said it felt as if I had known you for years yet we had only just met.

I hope we can meet again one day”

Hi,

Please find below the adaption to Romanian of the text you wanted translated. It is not a word-by-word translation, as it would sound a bit strange in Romanian. All the message though is well preserved.

Nici nu știi cât de mult mi-a plăcut să vorbesc cu tine în noaptea aia, mi-aș fi dorit să fi vorbit toată noaptea.
Nu știu dacă îți mai aduci aminte când ți-am zis că parcă te-aș fi cunoscut de ani de zile, și totuși doar ce ne cunoscusem

Happy to help and all the best

Thank you so much and thank you for such a great website.

Hi, I would really appreciate your help. I have become very close friends with a Romanian and I would like to be able to say something special in her native language. She has helped me through some very tough times and I love her very much.

It is her birthday soon and my Romanian is very limited. However, I would like to say something that reflects how much she, and her friendship means to me. This is a genuine friendship not a romance, so some romantic phrases may not be appropriate.

I would like to thank you in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated. (multumesc)

Hi,
I understand from your message that you do not have a particular text in mind to be translated. In that case I propose the following message:
Ziua ta a adaugat un an la viata ta, dar si la prietenia noastra. Îți mulțumesc pentru sfaturile tale care mi-au luminat calea cu intelepciunea lor atunci cand ma aflam intr-un impas. La multi ani si tot ce iti doresti tu mai mult!

The text is a bit poetical since you've asked for something more special.
The Romanian-English translation of the above text is:
Your birthday has added one more year to your life but also to our friendship. Thank you for your advises that enlightened my path with their wisdom when I was in a tight spot/difficult moment.Happy birthday and [may] all that you want [become reality]

I hope the above text can be of help

Thank you very much... your help is very much appreciated. The translation is perfect, exactly what i was hoping for.

Many thanks.

Great site!
I want to inscribe an engagement ring to say sorry merging special. It needs to be short, simple and loving. Ideas? How would I say "Love of a lifetime"

I'll repeat that above...
I want to inscribe an engagement ring to say something special ... is what I meant to say !

Hi,

The best is to say "Tu ești iubirea vieţii mele" which is translated as "You are the love of my life". You have the pronunciation in the lesson above in the "Express your feelings in Romanian". With a bit of practice you'll be able to say it.

You have asked for "Love of a lifetime" which is slightly different, however the word by word translation would be unnatural in Romanian, I would advise you to use the above sentence.

If you need anything else, just let me know as I couldn't get whether you need just the translation of "Love of a lifetime" or something else.

In any case I wish you all the best and that your Romanian lady will appreciate your effort and will be happy to hear you offering an engagement ring.

Happy to help!

Hi guys. I really need your help!. You can also translate from german into romanian? I wanted to write a letter in romanian to a romanian woman, which i have fallen in love. You could translate it?

Hi Tom,

My policy is to always try to help. Yes, the translation can be done, but it will take a bit longer. If you can be patient it can be done.

This website is starting to be translated in German at http://www.learnro.com/de

Happy to help

Hello

Thanks for the help your site has already given me. I am writing a letter (in english) but would like to include a bit of Romanian. Could you translate a line from a song that I have always liked?

"Let's grow old together and die at the same time."

Thankyou

Hi,

It sounds like a well thought and chosen sentence. A nice one.
The translation is:
"Hai să îmbătrânim împreună și să ne stingem în același timp"

I adapted it by translating "die" by "stingem" which is more precisely translated as "fade away". The meaning stays the same though.
If you would like a word-by-word translation here it is:
""Hai să îmbătrânim împreună și să murim în același timp"

Happy to help

That was fast! I will go with your fade away suggestion. I am so happy that I can express how I feel correctly. Thankyou

Hi I was wondering if you could please translate the following for me?

'Happy Dragobete Day.

There will never go a day where I don't think about you and miss you.
I can't stop myself from loving you or wanting to spend forever with you.
You are everything and you make my world a better place to be by just being in it.

All my love always.'

Thank you for such a great website! It has really helped me over the past 6 months. And thank you for any help you can give me with this. x

Also if at all possible can you see if these lyrics can be translated?

Oh, love
How I miss you every single day
When I see you on those streets
Oh, love
Tell me there's a river I can swim that will bring you back to me
'Cause I don't know how to love someone else
I don't know how to forget your face
No, love
God, I miss you every single day and now you're so far away

Again, thank you so much for any help :)

Here it is:

Iubito
Cât de mult îmi lipsești în fiecare zi
Când te văd pe străzile alea,
Iubito,
Spune-mi că exista un râu pe care dacă-l trec o să te aducă înapoi la mine
Că nu știu cum să iubesc pe altcineva
Nu știu cum să-ți uit fața
Nu, iubito
Dumnezeule, mi-e dor de tine în fiecare zi și acum ești atât de departe'

Happy to help

Hi,

Here is the Romanian translation(slightly adapted), just replace XXX with your name.

'Nu o să treacă nici o zi fără să mă gândesc la tine și fără să-mi fie dor de tine.
Nu mă pot opri să nu te iubesc sau să vreau să petrecem o veșnicie împreună
Tu ești totul și tu faci ca lumea mea să fie un loc mai bun prin simpla ta prezență

Din toată inima, pentru totdeauna
Dragobetele tău XXXX'

Happy to help and all the best with your Romanian sweetheart

Thankyou so much!!

Hello

I hope you are proud of helping so many people!
Could you translate the following please?

There is a light that never goes out

Thanks

Hi,

The English-Romanian translation of "There is a light that never goes out" is:
"E o lumină care nu se stinge niciodată"

I would feel prouder if I could help more people and faster.
I'm working on more functionalities for the website, preparing a new lesson on the Romanian time expressions at www.learnro.com/time-weekdays-months-seasons-romanian-vocabulary
and another one on the Pronunciation of the R in French that I will translate in English as well.
I would like to progress faster. I have limited spare time but a lot of passion and willingness to help more.

Happy to help

Hi, thank you for a fantastic site, I have learned so much being on here. I am becoming involved with an incredible Romanian girl and I would like to surprise her by saying some things in her native language. I won't be able you see her the next three weeks as she is traveling, so it's a lot of text messages, especially wishing good morning and goodnight etc... I know and have used Noapte bună, vise placute, but are there other nice, romantic sayings / ways of wishing someone a good morning / good night in Romanian that you would recommend? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,
I'm happy to hear about your involvement with a Romanian girl.
I assume you are only in the beginning so I did not know whether to add more serious stuff related to kissing/lips/I love you/I miss you very much. If you need that as well just let me know

Here are a few more Romanian Romantic expressions that you could use:

Mi-e tare dor de tine=I miss you very much
Somn ușor, vise plăcute, îngerii să te sărute=May you sleep well, have sweet dreams, and may the angels kiss you
noapte buna puiisor - Good night honey
Nu contează cât de departe ești … ești mereu in gândurile mele! Noapte bună. - It doesn't matter how far you are, you are always on my mind!Good night!
Noapte bună, draga mea dragă=Good night, my dearest
Noapte bună, suflet frumos! - Good night, beautiful soul!

Bună dimineața, să ai o zi frumoasă ca tine=Good morning, may you have a day as nice as you are
Bună dimineața!Nimic nu e mai frumos decât să mă trezesc cu tine în gând. - Good morning! Nothing is more beautiful but waking up thinking of you
Pentru că noaptea s-a sfârșit, am continuat să te visez cu ochii deschiși. Bună dimineața! - Because the night is over I kept on dreaming of you with eyes wide open. Good morning.
Bună dimineața, zâna mea=Good morning, my fairy

Happy to help

Thanks a lot for these, that is incredibly helpful :)

We are starting to get into the more serious stages, so anything related to kissing/lips/incredible eyes/incredible voice would be awesome :)

If you would translate this sentence as well, I would be eternally grateful: "I could get lost in your incredible eyes, seeing your smile and knowing what an amazing woman you are. I live in hope that we will see each other again soon"

Thanks again!
