It is important to remember that in Romanian "aperitiv" means most of the time a "starter" rather than an alcoholic drink served before a meal as an appetizer. Another translation of "starter" in Romanian is "gustare". The "aperitiv" or "gustare" is a cold dish, typically made of slices of cheese, yellow cheese, meet (most of the times salami like), vegetables, etc.

Now that the most difficult part is done (the ordering), you are ready to eat, so let's see what would a waiter say while bringing your order to the table.

How to ask for specific food in a Romanian restaurant

Salut,

Sunt mai multe moduri de a întreba, cel mai simplu este:
Aveți orez?
Aveți suc de portocale?

Că ai adus vorba de orez, în Romania poți să comanzi uneori și pilaf care este o mâncare pe bază de orez.

Poftă bună :)

This is great.

This is great.

Love

this is a great help thank you.

I still need to finalize the two lessons though.
